Pepper Chicken
A wonderful combination of sautéed bell peppers top this delicious dish. Garlic, thyme, and wine intensify the flavor.. Prep Time: approx. 20 Minutes. Cook Time: approx. 45 Minutes. Ready in: approx. 65 minutes .

Chicken:

1 package Foster Farms Best of Our Fryer
|
1 tablespoon oil
|
Pepper Saute:
|
1 large onion, thinly sliced
|
1 large green pepper, seeded and cut into strips
|
1 large red pepper, seeded and cut into strips
|
2 cloves garlic, pressed
|
Seasoning:
|
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
|
1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
|
salt and pepper
|

Directions
1. In a frying pan, brown chicken pieces in oil. Arrange chicken in a baking dish.
2. Drain all but 1 tablespoon oil from frying pan. Saute onion, peppers and garlic in oil until tender-crisp.
3. Spread vegetables over chicken pieces, sprinkle with thyme leaves, season with salt and pepper.
4. Pour wine over chicken. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
